The idea behind WARDI’ creation was to fill the gap that existed in the logistics services in the Greek market, for the management of products with special requirements, such as chemical and dangerous goods, but also sensitive and perishable products, such as pharmaceuticals (human and veterinary). It came to address the significant lack in the application of regulations and of Good Distribution Practices, required to the legislative framework for managing and distribution for these products.
Under the ownership and guidance of the PREMIER SHUKUROGLOU GROUP, this need was adequately covered by WARDI with all the prerequisite procedures. The PREMIER SHUKUROGLOU GROUP had great knowledge and long experience in the field of chemicals (pesticides and veterinary products), with strong presence in Cyprus and the Middle East. This led the Group management to decide the expansion of its activity in the related field of logistics in Greece. A new era was introduced in the logistics industry, with responsible and certified management for goods with special requirements.
In the long course of more than 20 years, WARDI has contributed decisively to the achievement of this goal by transforming the landscape of 3PL (3rd Party Logistics) in Greece.
