NEW FACILITIES

WARDI takes a leap of growth.
The need for larger storage spaces leads the company to move its headquarters to new facilities in Peania. Its administrative offices are also located there.
At the same time, the specialized and demanding storage of chemical products is being developed and a new logistics center in Magoula is established.
In the same year, WARDI adds a new branch at the TRAINOSE facilities at the Thriasio Area where it serves the storage of plastic materials and electronic equipment.

ACQUISITION FROM PREMIER SHUKUROGLOU GROUP / HUMAN CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT

WARDI is 100% acquired by the PREMIER SHUKUROGLOU group.

The company invests in human resources by staffing experienced administrative personnel and specialized warehouse workers.
At the same time, there is an upgrade of the IT system with sophisticated 3PL technological tools.

DIGITALIZATION OF THE PROCESSES

WARDI’s Management, acting as a pioneer, foreseeing the digital future of the industry, invests in the best WMS system on the market, Logistics Vision by Mantis. It is worth mentioning that in 2009 very few companies in the logistics sector had such a sophisticated WMS system. The know-how developed in our company through all the years of operating Logistics Vision, has driven us highly in the digitization processes of logistics, as well as in the management of data analytics tools.

New Specialized Logistics Center, exclusively for chemical and dangerous products
In the same year WARDI announces the operation of a new licensed and certified Logistics Center exclusively for chemical and dangerous goods, maintaining as its basic principle their complete segregation from the rest of the storage areas available to the company, as well as the development of specialized procedures that are required in the overall management of such products. The new Logistics Center is located in Aspropyrgos, a key geographical point, where the company’s Management quickly realized its importance and its development dynamics in logistics services.

NEW FACILITIES

With a distinguishing foresight, WARDI decides to move its headquarters to Magoula, together with the operation of new facilities, for medicines and food storage. Thus, it creates a geographical concentration in Magoula and Aspropyrgos which are strategic geographical points, since they provide easy access thus significantly facilitating the handling and distribution of products. The company’s administration Center is now being moved there.

At the same time, WARDI’s management, strategically decides on the strategic upgrade of its services with the further development and implementation of Quality Management Systems for the whole range of its operations, under special protocols and required certifications. Quality remains a strong asset of the company, non-negotiable and a fundamental component of its vision.

WARDI implements a combined quality, health, and safety system for all its operations, in accordance with ISO 9001:2005 for quality and ISO 18001:2007 for health & safety of the working environment, which were certified by TÜV NORD.

QUALITY CERTIFICATION / MEDICAL TECHNOLOGICAL PRODUCTS

WARDI receives from TÜV NORD, a Quality Certificate of Good Practice of the Management System of Medical Technological Products (IVDs), in accordance with governmental act 1348/2004 of the Ministry of Health and Welfare.

EXTENSION OF AIR-CONDITIONED AND REFRIGERATORS SPACES

WARDI is investing in the installation of a modern integrated air conditioning system additionally with the expansion of the cold-storage rooms.

Following its policy of implementing best practices for the protection of the environment, it receives Certification from TÜV NORD, Environmental Management System ISO 14001:2004

FOAM GENERATORS FIRE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM

The company is installing an advanced automatic foam extinguishing system in the warehouses, while renewing and upgrading the ventilation systems with active carbon filters.

Consistent in ensuring the quality of its services, WARDI implements the Food Safety Standard ISO 22000:2005 (HACCP) and becomes certified by the TÜV NORD
